The Office Jam: Jazzy Gold, Banana Bread, and a Blind Draw

Every Office Jam is different, but this one was really different. Jazzy Gold was on hosting duties, and she decided the usual format needed a shake-up.

The twist: everyone who walked through the door wrote a suggestion on a piece of paper and dropped it into a blind draw. When it was your turn to play, you pulled a random prompt out of the pile and had to improvise something on the spot. No preparation, no safety net, just whatever came out.

The house band opened the night as always, with Alex Sullivan (Almost Toast), Jarrah Murray (Thunderfox), and Lachlan Fitzgerald (North of Quasi) setting the tone. Leianna and Jordan Kenny also joined the lineup, adding even more variety to an already stacked roster of players.

The highlight of the night? A ten-minute improvised sing-off between Jazzy Gold and Jordan Kenny about banana bread. It started as a joke, turned into something weirdly melodic, and somehow kept going until the entire room was in tears laughing. Nobody asked for it. Nobody wanted it to stop.

That's the kind of thing that can only happen at The Office Jam. You can't plan a moment like that. You can only create the right conditions for it, put the right people in the room, and let them play.
